Community Improvement:  enhance quality of life and sustainability  

1. Rent cap for Seniors

2. Revive Sunday Community Brunch in Oak Creek Clubhouse as inspiration to other neighborhoods

3. Build affordable Council housing with set aside for children of Palo Alto residents

4. Protect integrity of Eichler neighborhoods

5. Plant Urban Forest, with orchards, on San Antonio Lands 

6. New housing near existing services e.g. California Ave, Stanford Shopping Center, University Ave.

7. Use density bonuses to include day care centers in new housing

8. Open Accelerator/Incubator in underutilized City Hall space

9. Use city consulting funds for community services 

10. Design activity rich neighborhood Clubhouses in underutilized community rooms and retail spaces

11. Extend Comida lunches into Senior dinners

12. Create “Park Avenue” over railroad tracks with bike lanes and light rail; no land takings

13. Moratorium on office construction until housing catches up

14. Make empty offices living lofts

15. Transform Stanford Research Park into Science City; build student/faculty/staff housing
